Explore the Downtown area and Shop, Dine & Play your way to the start of the best weekend ever! Save these dates for the upcoming Third Thursdays: September 21, October 19 (special edition – stay tuned!), and November 16.
Here are a few of the highlights to check out:
EQIUNOX BOTANICAL BOUTIQUE. It is the place to visit for awesome houseplants, seasonal herb and vegetable plants and a wide variety of cool pots, offers a wine tasting every Third Thursday from 5-7pm with late shopping hours until 8pm.
STUDIO MOONFALL, Downtown’s epicenter of fantasy stories and coloring books, has a Super Special Bonus that is only available on Third Thursday…Draw Your Own Button! For only $5, draw up your one-of-a-kind button. Find the button template at godowntownkenosha.com/third-Thursdays or stop by Studio Moonfall and borrow some crayons. Available between 10am and 7pm.
LEMON STREET GALLERY & ART SPACE has a Creatives Club every Third Thursday! From 11am-8pm, bring in your current art project, get inspired by some fellow artists and enjoy some snacks. If you don’t have a project you are currently working on, start one! They have painting, collage and drawing supplies available for you to get started. Even give their clay studio a try!
BLUE HOUSE BOOKS will have a special guest each month, extended hours and light refreshments. In September join Would You Kindly? unplugged and help to raise money for Kenosha Literacy Council and in November meet Allison Epstein, a Chicago author of historical mysteries. Watch for sales and stay tuned for upcoming plans!
SALON ON SIXTH, the Aveda Concept full-service salon/spa on Sixth Avenue, has raffles and sales.
Looking for a drink, KENOSHA TAP HOUSE,
Wisconsin’s largest tap house with 60 options of wine, craft beer, seltzers and ciders has specials on food and their tap wall.
Fill a flight board at HOLD MY BEER, Downtown Kenosha’s axe throwing and craft pouring experience, and get the fourth glass free.
SWEDE’S, the Downtown family bar with a “North Woods” atmosphere, has drink specials.
THE LAKESIDE DECK at the Wyndham Garden Hotel typically has karaoke and deals on cheese curds and pitchers of domestic beer.
CAPTAIN MIKE’S and KENOSHA CREATIVE SPACE both have live music, HOUSE OF NUTRITION has free samples and discounts, LULU BIRDS and SANDY’S POPPER offer special savings, TAVERN ON SIXTH has their terrace bar and patio open, GORDON’S SPORTS BAR AND GRILL has drink specials as well as al fresco dining, MODERN APOTHECARY has special offers and experiences that change monthly, and MILLIE BO PEEP has extended shopping hours and new specials that run every Third Thursday.
